During the month of October these patches will be available for sale. Patches will be available for sale at our Fire Headquarters and various community events throughout the month.

Patches are $10 each and all proceeds will help the fight against Breast Cancer.

Today Saturday 9/28/24, Mohegan FD participated at a Touch a Truck community outreach event from 10am-3pm located at the Jefferson Valley Mall on Lee Blvd in Yorktown. The event was sponsored by the mall in conjunction with State Farm Insurance- Matt Spector and the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce. On Thursday evening 9/26/24 at approximately 6:30pm, Mohegan FD was dispatched to the area of Route 6 and Curry Street in Yorktown for a reported garage truck fire. On arrival, Mohegan Firefighters found an active garbage truck fire. The driver of the garbage truck already dumped the contents onto the street to stop fire spread to the vehicle. On this warm Thursday 9/19/24, Mohegan FD held its annual Old Timers Night instead of our normal monthly fire company meeting. This event is dedicated to all our Life-Members of the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association.These members have achieved a minimum of 25 years of service, and this is a way for the department to thank them for their service! This flag was generously donated to us a few days after 9/11/01. This American flag was hung proudly on the side of our Headquarters on East Main St (Rt 6) and was illuminated at night to show our support to our Country for the weeks after!
